It all started with working as a bartender in the winter months...
Working as a bartender, I'm constantly washing my hands, cleaning counter-tops, washing glasses, and handling wet glasses. My hands were suffering severely from everyday activities and the lotions were able to do the job. Other Shea butter was better but greasy and hard to use during the day and felt I needed to use them at night to absorb the oil entirely.
My son also has very sensitive skin including psoriasis flare-ups and food allergies. So I couldn't just buy any moisturizer for him to use do to chemicals or additives that he was allergic to.
So I decided to try to make my own. It was going to be a lot of researching different kinds of butter and fragrances there were gentle for the skin, especially sensitive skin. And I created my first batch of Avocado Shea Butter Cream.
We tried it and it was lighter than Shea butter, not as greasy. It created a sheen on my skin and seemed to create a barrier from the water. I would skip a day or two and I could still feel the softness.
The benefits for our body internally also applies externally to our skin care.
I was so excited that I gave a sample to friends, family, and coworkers. I got great feedback from everyone who used it. People with extra dry skin, to builders, nurses, and restaurant owners. Even people who normally spend 50 dollars on designer creams said: "This is amazing!".
So now I'm ready to share it with you.
